Two new medical tenants have signed leases at the Boyce Thompson Center, the $35 million, 85,000-square-foot mixed-use development at 1086 N. Broadway in Yonkers.
The new leases total more than 9,400 square feet of space, according to the center”™s developer, Simone Development Cos.
ColumbiaDoctors, a multispecialty practice affiliated with Columbia University and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, signed a long-term lease for 6,839 square feet on the building”™s second floor. It will primarily be used as physician offices for cardiology practices, along with other medical subspecialties.
Maureen O”™Boyle and Gerard Lees of Cushman and Wakefield represented ColumbiaDoctors.
Riverside Dental Health PC will move its practices from 970 N. Broadway in Yonkers to a 2,621-square-foot space on the Boyce-Thompson building”™s lower level.
With the addition of the two tenants, the Boyce Thompson Center is now more than 85 percent leased, according to the owner.
St. John”™s Riverside Hospital, which signed a 15-year lease to occupy a newly built standalone building on the north side of the site, began accepting patients at its two-level, 15,000-square-foot medical office in April.
Westmed Medical Group, the Purchase-based multispecialty medical practice, signed a long-term lease for a two-story, 20,000-square-foot addition on the south side of the original Boyce Thompson building. It will house a 3,000-square-foot urgent care center and 17,000 square feet of primary-care space.
Other health care tenants include Westchester Gastroenterology, Juvanni Med Spa and Family Wellness Pharmacy.
Retail tenants at the redeveloped property include Tompkins Mahopac Bank, which opened its doors earlier this summer; Plushblow Salon; Ultimate Spectacle; and The Taco Project. Fortina, one of the region’s”™s most popular restaurants, will open their fifth restaurant at the Boyce Thompson Center later this year.
