
FAIRFIELD – The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce will honor its second class of Women in Business Awards winners March 11 at Fairfield University’s Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts.
This event honors six remarkable Chamber women across a variety of fields in the community who have made a positive and lasting impact. Award winners were selected among nominees who are members of the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce.
This year’s honorees include:
- Sabrina Smeltz, CEO of Wakeman Boys & Girls Club (Woman of Distinction)
- Karen Kaiser, vice president of philanthropy, St. Vincent’s Medical Center/Hartford HealthCare (Community Impact)
- Carlo Miklos, the outgoing executive director of Operation Hope (Excellence in Advocacy)
- Naviana Zhagata, co-founder of Aquilo’s Nest Vineyards (Emerging Leader)
- Ginnie Thompson, managing partner and COO of Moneco Advisors (Excellence in Business)
- Denise DiGrigoli, founder of Drive Media & Consulting (Luminary Entrepreneur Award)
The guest speaker will be Fran Pastore, president and CEO of the Women’s Business Development Council. A reception includes a variety of wine, beer and soft drinks; hot and cold hors d’oeuvres; standing food table and charcuterie.
