
Montefiore Nyack Hospital recognized its 2025 Physicians of the Year honorees: Mathew Lonberg, M.D., and Bramdeo Singh, M.D., for their longtime service and dedication to patient care during a reception on June 5 at the Hilton Pearl River. Â
Lonberg, a respected and accomplished physician, has been a member of the Montefiore Nyack Hospital Medical Staff since 1988. He is a highly trained and dedicated hematologist and medical oncologist who serves as chief of the Section of The Hematology and Oncology Center at Montefiore Nyack Hospital. Â
Singh began his medical career as the co-founder of the Hospitalist Program at Putnam Hospital Center in Carmel, New York. He was named medical director of the Sound Physicians Hospitalist Program at Montefiore Nyack Hospital in 2017 and serves as chair of the Internal Medicine Sub-Internship Program at Montefiore Nyack Hospital. In 2019, he received the Sound Physicians Integrity Award for exceptional service and dedication. Singh is an adjunct clinical assistant professor of Medicine at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine and an associate professor at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine. He volunteers with the American Board of Internal Medicine. Â
