For non-profit organizations across Fairfield County, Giving Tuesday has become what Black Friday is to many retail shops: the time for turning a profit or surplus for the year.
There are such causes as hungry children, art classes, foster care, and community programs.
Here is a list of nonprofits, their ask and how to donate:
Save the Children (Fairfield)
The longtime international worldwide children’s advocate is concentrating on the humanitarian crises in Lebanon, southern U.S. following Hurricane Helene, and Sudan. LiveGirl (New Canaan)

Norwalk Art Space (Norwalk)

Family & Children’s Agency (Norwalk)
The organization that provides adoption and foster care and behavioral health and addition programs has a $50,000 match that doubles on Tuesday, Dec. 3. Family & Children’s Agency, Inc. – Acceptiva.
Catalyst (Bridgeport)
