Free Breast Cancer Screening Event

Now with the arrival of medical site director, Dr. Carolyn Malone, Montefiore Einstein is expanding breast imaging capabilities locally, including screening and diagnostic mammography with 3D tomosynthesis which can detect breast cancers up to two years before a physical exam – and procedures like biopsies. These services are imperative for Westchester women as according to the Westchester County Community Health Assessment 2022-2024 report, the average annual incidence for female breast cancer in the area has increased by 35.2%.

Montefiore Einstein’s new imaging services complement a growing and comprehensive suite of multidisciplinary care from an Immunologic Diseases Center and Cosmetic Dermatology Center to more specialized orthopedics, psychiatry, physical medicine and rehabilitation services.
