Executives of three Hudson Valley counties will discuss a range of topics during a Hudson Valley Pattern For Progress panel on May 15 at Pace University.
Westchester County Executive Robert Astorino, Rockland County Executive Ed Day and Putnam County Executive MaryEllen Odell will cover a variety of issues including smart growth, navigating change and addressing priorities of residents and the state and federal governments.
The breakfast will be held from 7:45 to 9:30 a.m. at The Gottesman Room in Pace’s Kessel Student Center at 860 Bedford Road in Pleasantville.
Pattern”™s President and CEO Jonathan Drapkin said that during this era of change, leadership is more important than ever.
“These seasoned county executives are being called on to juggle a range of priorities, from being business-friendly to ensuring safe neighborhoods,” Drapkin said. “They’ll provide an insightful window into the decisions they make every day.”

Pace’s master”™s of public administration program students will also have an opportunity to directly question the county leaders.
“It is imperative to integrate younger professionals into discussion on the future of our counties,” Drapkin said.
