Proposal Software Inc. of Westport reported an 88 percent revenue increase in 2008 compared with the same period in 2007.
“Our continued revenue growth validates that we are providing our clients with the greatest value in proposal productivity,” CEO John A. Laurino said.
The company”™s leading product is PMAPS, Proposal Management and Production System, which allows companies to increase proposal workgroup productivity enterprise-wide by an average of 50 percent, according to the company.
“We are gratified that our clients continue to increase their win rates and are working more efficiently and cost effectively through their use of PMAPS,” said Laurino. “Productivity is vital in the face of the global re-bidding of products and services in all business to business sectors. The number of requests for proposal, requests for information and requests for quotation companies are receiving, as well as the size and complexity of these requests is growing exponentially. All of this must be accomplished in a reduced headcount environment.”
