Westchester Hills Golf Club in White Plains was filled with family and community members and business leaders, celebrating life and the holiday season during Hospice of Westchester’s 23rd annual Tree of Life Reception Dec. 3.
Guests were invited during the event to purchase a gold star in memory or in honor of a loved one and place the personalized stars on the “Tree of Life.” The evening’s festivities featured holiday entertainment provided by pianist Hiroshi Yamazaki, representing Music Conservatory of Westchester, as well as members of The Manhattan University Singers, directed by Andrew Bauer.
“For more than 20 years, our Tree of Life reception has served as a bright light during a time of year that can be difficult for those who have lost a loved one or who have a family member receiving hospice services,” said Mary K. Spengler, RN, MS, LNHA, CEO of HOW. “We look forward to this evening every year and we are grateful for the continued support we receive from the community.”
