Cotton Candy Fabrics & Quilts of Brookfield took part in the 2024 Local Quilt Shop Contest organized by ByAnnie.com, a sewing and quilting pattern and tool supply site. The shop not only placed first out of all 15 participating shops in Connecticut, but ranked 21 out of all 2,249 quilt shops participating in the international competition.

The contest ranked shops by means of voting on the part of customers across 12 separate countries. As a regional prize winner Cotton Candy Fabrics will receive a free trunk show with six models from ByAnnie.com, a spotlight at the h+h Americas 2024 tradeshow alongside exhibit and VIP lounge access and a Starbucks gift card, a special ad in ShopHop Inc’s regional event catalog, a 20% discount on a 1-year membership to the Craft Industry Alliance, and a bundle of special prizes.
The shop has undergone five years of continuous expansion and offers not only fabrics and quilting supplies but workshops, classes, and events to foster a community of quilters.
