1000 Lafayette Blvd. includes two buildings that were last appraised in 2024 for $22.41 million. The total square footage of both buildings is 448,892 square feet. It was last sold in 2016 to Shelbourne Lafayette LLC for $26.71 million, according to property records.
MetroCOG is a multi-discipline, regional planning organization with six member communities — Bridgeport, Easton, Fairfield, Monroe, Stratford and Trumbull.
State statutes authorize the Secretary of the Office of Policy and Management (OPM) to oversee and designate (or redesignate) the boundaries of logical planning regions.
Member municipalities of each planning region are authorized under separate state statutes to establish the formal governance structure known as a Regional Council of Governments. In Connecticut, Regional Council of Governments (COGs) are supported by a combination of federal, state and municipal funds.
Each COG is governed by a board consisting of each municipality’s chief elected official (Mayor or First Selectman/woman).
The following elected officials make up the MetroCOG board: Bridgeport Mayor Joe Ganim, Easton First Selectman David Bindelgass, Fairfield First Selectman Christine Vitale, Monroe First Selectman Terry Rooney, Stratford Mayor Laura Hoydick and Trumbull First Selectman Vicki Tesoro.
In partnership with the Naugatuck Valley Council of Governments (NVCOG), MetroCOG conducts the federal transportation planning activities for both the Greater Bridgeport and the Valley Regions of Connecticut through the consolidated Greater Bridgeport and Valley Metropolitan Planning Organization (GBVMPO).
