STRATFORD – Fairfield-based Cornerstone Medical Training Center (CMTC) has moved to 999 Oronoque Lane, where it is leasing 6,550 square feet for its offices and training facility, according to the broker Vidal/Wettenstein.
The term of the lease is for five years with options to renew.
CMTC is a postsecondary healthcare training school dedicated to preparing students for immediate entry into the medical workforce through hands-on, career-focused education. Founded and led by Peggy Colas, RN, CMTC offers industry-recognized programs including Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Patient Care Technician (PCT), Phlebotomy, EKG, Pharmacy Technician, Medical Billing and Coding and Medical Assistant training, with continued expansion to meet growing healthcare workforce demands.
The decision to expand into Stratford reflects CMTC’s mission to increase access to quality healthcare education while supporting local workforce development. The new facility features a layout well-suited for classroom instruction and skills-based learning, and convenient accessibility for students and staff. It also allows CMTC to better serve Stratford and surrounding communities while reinforcing its commitment to community impact, and the development of skilled, job-ready healthcare professionals, the center said in a press release.
