Support Connection: Support-A-Walk

Our Annual Support-A-Walk for Breast & Ovarian Cancer is held each year to bring attention to the needs of people living with breast, ovarian or any gynecological cancer, and to raise funds for our free support services such as one-on-one peer counseling, support groups, educational and wellness programs, and social activities.

Each year, thousands of people participate in this uplifting community event. Family and friends come together to celebrate, support, and remember loved ones. For individuals, businesses and organizations in the community, it is an opportunity to express encouragement and compassion for those living with breast, ovarian, or any gynecological cancer. Everyone is welcome to participate in whatever way they can.

Walk With Us, Wherever You Are

On Sunday, October 5, 2025, we will walk at FDR State Park in Yorktown Heights, NY and also in communities across the country!

We invite you to join us at the park, OR walk where you are, near or far, to raise funds for our free breast, ovarian, and gynecological cancer support services. We serve people nationwide, and people nationwide can walk with us. No matter where you live, you can participate in the Support-A-Walk, as we all work together for a common cause. We can’t do what we do without you!

Walk Schedule at FDR State Park – Rain or Shine!

9 AM: Pre-Walk Activities

• Welcome area for survivors
• Take Team photos at the Team Photo Station and create a Team banner
• Enjoy music, kids activities, and participate in a warm-up led by a Club Fit instructor
• Visit our refreshment tent to charge up

10 AM: Ready, Set, WALK!

• Ribbon cutting and the Walk begins

This is why we need you.

The Support-A-Walk is our most important annual fundraiser. We rely on YOUR donations to sustain our free breast, ovarian and gynecological cancer support services. We do NOT receive funds from Relay for Life, Making Strides, American Cancer Society, Susan G. Komen, or any other national cancer group.

We ask anyone who participates in the Walk to donate whatever amount they can. EVERY donation makes a difference! YOU make a difference!
