Community Tea Party and Fine Art Exhibition
1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
March 14, 2026

The Howland Cultural Center (HCC) located at 477 Main Street, in collaboration with the Bannerman Castle Trust, both in Beacon, NY, hosts a public Community Tea Party in the HCC’s gallery, immediately following Beacon’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade of Green from 1:00 – 3:00 pm.
The Festive Tea Party – which will include Tea, Coffee, Hot Chocolate, and other goodies on the St. Patrick’s Day theme- will give the public a chance to enjoy the “Bannerman Island and the Mighty Hudson River Exhibition,” an exquisite fine art exhibition featuring Hudson River Valley scenes by over 50 artists. Many artists will be present for this meet & greet, and there will also be live music featuring Celtic favorites by Pianist, Thom McCoy and friends.
All artwork will be for sale, and proceeds from sales will benefit both the Howland Cultural Center and the Bannerman Castle Trust – both non-profit organizations with a long history of serving the community with a variety of cultural and arts programming for children, teens, and adults.
Fine art paintings, watercolors, drawings, pastels, photography, and mixed media works – representing many genres will be on view, many focusing on the Hudson River and historic Bannerman Island & Castle in the Hudson River Highlands. This is a great time to start or add to an art collection and help two great organizations at the same time!
HCC and BCT hope you will join us from 1:00-3:00 pm on Saturday, March 14th – but if you’re unable, the show will remain on view at the HCC through Sunday, April 12th. Gallery hours for the remainder of the exhibition will be Saturdays & Sundays from 1:00-5:00 pm and weekdays by chance and appointment.
