The thousand-member Bridgeport Regional Business Council is partnering with state-chartered The WorkPlace in Bridgeport and other business associations to conduct a survey of the region’s businesses.
“We”™d like to ask your help in completing a new workforce survey,” the BRBC said in a statement. “The data generated will help the BRBC, The WorkPlace and our partners in the community design future programs and better meet the workforce needs of companies like yours in the region.”
The survey is at surveymonkey.com/s/SF73P7R.
“The survey is short and should not take more than 10 minutes to complete,” the business council said. “You will not answer all of the questions, there is skip logic built into certain questions that will cause you to automatically skip questions that are not relevant to your company.”
The rules are simple: “You can go backwards and forwards in the survey to edit responses, but once you complete the survey you will no longer be able to edit responses.”
The business council asks for only a single survey response per company. A preview is available so companies can peek to see who might best answer the questions.
The business council statement also said, “Note that your company will answer less than 22 questions listed in the PDF, and only one of the questions in 23-35, depending on your industry.”
The WorkPlace was originally incorporated as the Private Industry Council of Southern Connecticut in 1983. In 1992, the General Assembly established The WorkPlace as one of nine regional workforce development boards in the state to conduct comprehensive planning, and coordinate regional workforce development policy and programs.
The BRBC represents 1,000 members, according to its website.
