Pink Chicken, the children’s brand known for its colorful, family-focused designs, has just opened a 900-square-foot boutique in Westport’s Sconset Square shopping district.
From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, March 8, the store will host a “Flock Party,” with face painting, florals, sweet treats and a chance for the community to discover the brand’s latest collections — including Coop Kids by PC, Pink Chicken’s new sub-brand featuring everyday essentials for adventurous little ones.
“We’re excited to open our doors in Westport, bringing our signature sunshine, color and vintage-inspired charm to even more families,” said Stacey Fraser, who founded the company in 2006. “At Pink Chicken, we believe in creating joyful, confidence-boosting moments through clothing, and this new store allows us to connect with our community in a more personal, meaningful way.”
The Westport boutique marks Pink Chicken’s ninth store in a brand that spans the East and West Coasts, including New York, Maryland, North and South Carolinas and California. Another will be opening in Tampa, Florida, this spring. Over the last five years, the company has increased revenues by 200%, with plans to scale another 50% in the next two years.
Giving back is another goal. Through its Fire Truck PJ Project, Pink Chicken has raised $52,000 for nonprofilt Baby2Baby to support Los Angeles families affected by the wildfires. Also, the brand’s Pinkie Bank, launched in 2022, encourages children to give to their communities.
