Montebello-based Sterling National Bank and Ameriprise Financial Inc. recently announced their launch of a program that will provide Sterling clients with investment and financial planning services from the wealth management teams at Ameriprise.
Sterling clients have access to these services immediately.
“This new program will allow us to expand the range of financial advisory services and investment options we can provide to our clients,” said Jack Kopnisky, president and CEO of Sterling National Bank, in a statement. “The wealth management expertise that Ameriprise brings to the table is very complimentary with existing offerings and the profile of our client base. They also share with us a deep understanding of our market and a commitment to high-touch, personalized service.”
Sterling National Bank, the principal subsidiary of Sterling Bancorp, in November announced plans to buy Yonkers-based Hudson Valley Holding Corp., the holding company for Hudson Valley Bank. Hudson Valley Bank has 17 branches in Westchester County, including five in Yonkers, while Sterling National Bank has 26 branches in New York and New Jersey.
