Balchem Corp. of New Hampton reported net sales of $50.5 million for the third quarter of 2007.
This is an increase of 101 percent above the $25.1 million result of last year”™s third quarter and was derived from both organic and acquisition growth, according to the company.
Net earnings for the quarter were $4.5 million, an increase of $1.3 million, or 41.4 percent compared with the same period last year.
The $4.5 million in net earnings resulted in an increase in diluted earnings per share of 41.2 percent, or 24 cents per share for the third quarter of 2007, vs. 17 cents per share for last year”™s third quarter.
