The Quaker Oats Co. division of Purchase-headquartered PepsiCo Inc. (NASDAQ:PEP) has added 24 products to a December list of 43 products that are being recalled over potential salmonella contamination.
The items being recalled include Quaker Chewy Granola Bars, Gatorade protein bars, Cap’n Crunch bars, Quaker Simply Granola Cereals, Gamesa Marias Cereal and other cereals. The full list is available online via the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) website.
The FDA recommended that consumers with any product on the updated list should either contact Quaker Consumer Relations at (800)492-9322 or go online to QuakerRecallUSA.com for additional information or product reimbursement.
