Hampton Inn completes renovation
Hampton Inn White Plains/Tarrytown has completed a $5.4 million renovation, adding 154 guest rooms to the property.
The six-month-long construction project at 200 W. Main St., Elmsford, included modern upgrades to the lobby, fitness center, coffee area and business center, as well as new furniture, task lighting, bedding, Wi-Fi and 37 flat-screen televisions in guest rooms.
The property owner is Inland American, a real estate, finance and investment service group.
Alliance Hospitality Management based in Raleigh, N.C., is the property manager.
Alliance Chairman Rolf Tweeten said the investment in property upgrades “will allow the hotel to continue to run significant revenue premium to its competitors” in a statement.
Marriott owner buys Oregon resorts
Northview Hotel Group in Westport, Conn., part owners of the Westchester Marriott in Tarrytown, has acquired three Oregon resort communities from developer Jeld-Wen Inc., through a partnership with Oaktree Capital Management L.P.
The sale includes Brasada Ranch, Eagle Crest Resort and Running Y Ranch.
Bob Eaton of Colliers International facilitated the property acquisition.
David Zeuske, Northview partner and president of NVHG Management, will manage the resort portfolio.
