Westchester County”™s former director of real estate has joined the White Plains-based Bleakley Platt & Schmidt LLP. Adam Rodriguez will hold the position of counsel for the law firm.
While with the county, Rodriguez negotiated commercial real estate transactions, including leases for office space throughout the county and multimillion-dollar hangar leases at the Westchester County Airport.
As an associate county attorney, he worked on the affordable housing settlement agreement with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and argued cases in state and federal courts.
Before joining the Westchester County Attorney”™s Office, Rodriguez clerked for Chief U.S. District Court Judge Dora L. Irizarry and U.S. Magistrate Judge Ramon E. Reyes Jr., both of the Eastern District of New York.
