Against a background of global uncertainty surrounding fighting in the Middle East, dramatic changes in the price of oil and natural gas, funding and programs of the U.S. government, and fluctuations in mortgage interest rates Westfair’s Annual Real Estate Panel takes on new importance as an arena for the examination of the obvious and not-so-obvious factors affecting the real estate industry.
This year’s event, “Building Balance: Housing, Community & Commercial Real Estate — Is there Room for Growth in Our Counties?” is scheduled to take place Apil 9 beginning 11:30 a.m. at the CV Rich Mansion, 305 Ridgeway Ave., White Plains. In addition to forecasting future developments in the real estate field, subjects including affordable housing, conditions in the retail, industrial and office markets and changing demographics are expected to be discussed.
Scheduled to be participating on the panel are: Ronald Rosado Abad, CEO of Community Housing Innovations; Bill Balter, president of WBP Development, Inc.; Bruce Berg, CEO of Cappelli Development Company; J. Ryan Harvey, CEO and president of The Ashforth Company; and Sarah Jones-Maturo, president of RM Friedland. The moderator is scheduled to be Clay Fowler, founding partner, chairman and CEO of Spinnaker Real Estate Partners. Westchester’s Deputy County Executive Joan McDonald is expected to deliver opening remarks at the event.
Westfair’s Annual Real Estate Event has developed a reputation for providing an ideal atmosphere for networking with developers, designers, builders, brokers, lenders, investors, insurers and other professionals. Tickets for the event can be obtained here.
