The Greenwich estate owned by Susie Hilfiger, the ex-wife of fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger, has sold for $15 million ”“ a significant discount from its original 2021 listing price of $40 million.
According to a Wall Street Journal report, Hilfiger purchased the property for $8.5 million in 1995 with her ex-husband and received full ownership in a 2000 divorce settlement. She decided to sell the property in order to move closer to her children on the West Coast.
The property, which has been dubbed Denbigh Farm, is 17-acre estate at 591 Riversville Road that dates to 1775. The 14,000-square-foot home features seven bedrooms, as well as nine full and four partial bathrooms.
Hilfiger repeated cut the price of the house over the past two years, and its most recent asking price was $17.995 million. The property”™s buyer was not publicly identified.
