NAI Friedland closes three deals in county
Brokers at NAI Friedland Realty Inc. closed three third-quarter lease deals for retail, industrial and office space in Westchester. They were among 16 transactions in Westchester, the Bronx and Putnam County brokered in the last quarter by the Yonkers company that totaled more than 120,000 square feet of commercial space.
In Yonkers, Enterprise Rent-A-Car leased 1,500 square feet of retail space at 2481 Central Park Ave. Friedland retail specialist Lou Klein brokered the deal for both the tenant and the landlord, Van Hassett Auto Service Inc.
In Mount Vernon, Consolidated Edison Corp. leased 15,000 square feet of industrial space at 60 Hartford Ave. to 256 Washington Street L.L.C. Ross Schneiderman, senior executive vice president at Friedland, brokered the deal for both the landlord and tenant.
Details of the company”™s plans for the leased space were not available at press time.
In White Plains, Kass & Jaffe P.C., an accounting firm, leased 4,954 square feet of office space at 1025 Westchester Ave., a building in The Exchange office-park portfolio of Normandy Real Estate Partners. Representing the C.P.A. partners in the deal were Schneiderman and Friedland Realty executive directors Ellen Benedek and Carl Silbergleit.
Law firm keeps space in White Plains
Milber Makris Plousadis & Seiden L.L.P. has signed a long-term lease for an entire 12,263-square-foot floor at 3 Barker Ave. in downtown White Plains. The insurance-defense law firm relocated there seven years ago, when it subleased space from Trigent Energy Corp. Patricia Valenti, a principal at Newmark Knight Frank, brokered the deal for the tenant. The owner, Mack-Cali Realty Corp., was represented by Ivan Abry, its senior director of leasing.
