NY — SKDK, a nationally recognized public affairs and political consulting firm welcomed Mike Morey as its president. In this newly created role, Morey will be responsible for managing the company’s acquisition and growth strategy and enterprise integration across all of its brands/subsidiaries: SKDK,
Sloane & Company and Jasper Advisors.
Morey has been with SKDK since 2012 after previously serving as Democratic leader Chuck Schumer’s New York communications director. Morey was named partner in 2020 and has played a pivotal role in the firm’s expansion and organic growth over the last decade. A seasoned strategist and crisis manager for over two decades, Morey has been a key advisor to CEOs, foundation presidents, academic leaders and public officials.

As president, Morey will guide the firm’s enterprise-wide growth strategy and help ensure alignment across practices and affiliated companies within the growing Stagwell network. He will lead efforts to identify and integrate new business opportunities — through both acquisitions and organic expansion — and support senior leaders in strengthening client services, talent development and innovation.
