Burke Rehabilitation® hosted a dynamic Medical Student Fair on Oct. 6, welcoming 68 aspiring clinicians from 19 medical schools to explore the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R). The fair offered students interactive, hands-on learning stations, each guided by Burke’s expert rehabilitation staff. Supported by a grant from the Association of Academic Physiatrists and held in collaboration with Albert Einstein College of Medicine, this initiative reflects Burke’s mission to prepare and inspire the next generation of physiatrists, physicians and rehabilitation specialists. With a reputation for pioneering research and comprehensive clinical care, from stroke and spinal cord injuries to complex neurological and sports-related injuries, trauma conditions and general debility, Burke continues to set the national standard in rehabilitation medicine, education and clinical excellence.
It remains the only free-standing rehabilitation hospital in the tri-state area to host an event of this scope and caliber
