Spectrum, located in Stamford, Connecticut, recently announced a donation of $2,500 to Pacific House through the company’s national community philanthropic program, Spectrum Employee Community Grants.
This donation will support the Pacific House emergency shelter, which serves 60-90 men and young adults each night. The shelter operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and provides two meals daily.
“Pacific House is honored to receive this generous donation from Spectrum,” said president and CEO, Carmen Colón. “These funds will directly impact the increasing number of shelter individuals Pacific House serves, helping provide a safe place to sleep, two healthy meals each day, and access to critical support services. This investment not only improves lives but helps our shelter guests reintegrate into the community and move toward greater stability.”

Spectrum Employee Community Grants has provided funding to more than 600 local nonprofits in 35 states throughout the company’s service area since its inception in July 2019.
Recipients deliver critical social services, helping underserved residents meet basic needs, including food, shelter, clothing, job training and neighborhood safety. Each awardee is nominated by one of the company’s 95,000 U.S. employees who has volunteered with the organization for at least one year.
