Shantae Artis, marketing and communications director at the Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester in Mount Kisco, was recently honored with the 93rd Assembly District Women of Distinction Award. New York State Assemblyman Chris Burdick presented the award to Artis in recognition of her dedicated service to the Mount Kisco community.

Since 2022, she has led the club’s marketing and communications efforts and plays a central role in the planning and execution of its major events. Her dedication, creativity and deep roots in the community continue to shape the club’s mission and inspire those around her.
Artis was nominated for her impactful contributions as a board member of the Mount Kisco Historical Society and for her leadership as chair of the Steering Committee for the village’s 150th anniversary celebration. She is a proud Mount Kisco native and graduate of Fox Lane High School.
