Wilton, Connecticut-based ASML will contribute $1.5 million to Connecticut Foodshare to support hunger relief efforts across the state, marking the largest corporate gift in the nonprofit’s history. The funding will support Connecticut Foodshare’s food acquisition efforts, program sponsorships and technology investments that strengthen the organization’s ability to serve neighbors facing food insecurity across Connecticut.
The announcement was made ahead of “Conversations with Connecticut Foodshare,” a panel discussion designed to provide donors and community members with updates on the organization’s work and connect them with leaders addressing hunger in Connecticut.
“Strong partnerships are essential to addressing hunger in our communities,” said Jason Jakubowski, president and CEO of Connecticut Foodshare. “ASML’s historic commitment will help ensure that our neighbors across Connecticut have reliable access to nutritious food while also strengthening the programs and systems that make our work possible. We are deeply grateful to ASML for their leadership, generosity and partnership.”
“ASML is excited to partner with Connecticut Foodshare to drive meaningful, lasting impact across our state,” said Brian Amero, program manager of Society & Community Engagement at ASML. “Our partnership strengthens the systems that get nutritious food to families faster and more reliably. We’re energized by what we can accomplish together —and we encourage others to step up and support the critical work of Connecticut Foodshare so even more of neighbors in need can thrive.”
The panel discussion featured Jakubowski joined by Brian Amero, program manager of Society & Community Engagement at ASML, and Lutonya Russell-Humes, vice president of grants and programs at Fairfield County’s Community Foundation. Together, the panelists discussed the importance of cross-sector collaboration in addressing food insecurity and building stronger support systems for Connecticut residents.
