Field Hall Foundation in Cortlandt Manor, New York, has announced $280,605 in grant
awards as part of its Spring 2025 grant cycle. The funding will support programs aimed at reducing food insecurity, preventing elder abuse, promoting aging in place and providing vital services such as home repairs, case management and homecare. Since 2019, the foundation has awarded more than $5.2 million in grants to nonprofits and government agencies throughout Dutchess, Putnam and Westchester counties.
Spring 2025 grant recipients include:
•Pace Women’s Justice Center – $40,000 for civil legal services to protect seniors from all forms of elder abuse.
•Family Service Society of Yonkers – $25,000 for Kinship Program for seniors raising grandchildren.
• Habitat for Humanity of Dutchess County – $25,000 for home repair services for low-income seniors in Putnam Count.
• Putnam/Northern Westchester Women’s Resource Center – $25,000
For support and resources for older victims of elder abuse.
• Wartburg – $25,000 for relaunching of the Circle of Friends daycare program for seniors needing enhanced support.
• Cancer Support Team – $20,000 for in-home nurse education, counseling and case management for senior cancer patients.
• CAREERS Support Solutions – $20,000 for workforce readiness, job placement and ongoing job support for seniors.
• Meals on Wheels of White Plains – $15,000 for home meal delivery program for seniors.
• My Brother Vinny – $15,000 for essential household items for formerly homeless senior veterans.
• Meals on Wheels of Greater Hyde Park – $12,710 for home meal delivery program for seniors.
•Northern Dutchess Hospital Foundation – $12,500 for home-based health-care services for financially vulnerable seniors.
• Village of Hastings-on-Hudson – $10,490 for dance classes for seniors with Parkinson’s disease to improve mobility, balance and coordination.
• Horseman’s Harvest Neighborhood Pantry – $10,000 for food pantry support and rolling carts for senior clients.
• My Sisters’ Place – $10,000 for enhanced support for senior victims of domestic violence.
• St. John the Evangelist Church – $10,000 for support for weekly food pantry.
• Stonewood Community Project – $4,905 for farm-fresh produce and prepared foods for low-income seniors.

It does this by providing grants to nonprofits and local government agencies for programs that directly impact vulnerable seniors and/or their caregivers, with priority given to programs that address their basic needs.
