On June 5 more than 145 members of the White Plains community laced up their bowling shoes at Bowlmore Lanes and had a whole lot of fun at the Bowl for Kids’ Sake fundraising event for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Westchester & Putnam. Together they exceeded the fundraising goal raising over $50,000 in support of one-to-one mentoring relationships. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Westchester & Putnam is committed to building brighter futures through mentorship by carefully matching adult volunteers (Bigs) with children (Littles) and providing ongoing support. The organization’s mission is to help all youth achieve their full potential in school and in life by providing young people facing adversity with professionally supported one-to-one mentoring relationships that change their lives for the better.
