Two of Westchester’s largest full-service staffing firms have joined forces.
White Plains-based Reinhard-Madison Approach Staffing Inc. acquired Hire Choice Staffing Inc. in June, combining the two companies.
“It seemed like a good fusion,” Madison Approach owner Allison Madison said. “We had a lot of similar backgrounds. Both of us have been in business for a long time, and we had similar principles. It was a good opportunity for Madison Approach to expand our client base and provide more services to our clients.”
Madison Approach does full-service staffing from clerical on up, including direct and temporary hire. Most of its clients are in Westchester and range from small to midsize businesses, many of which don’t have a dedicated human resources department.
“Often times, businesses have a higher volume at some point in the year and we help them supplement staff,” Madison said. “It’s a very economical use of resources.”
Madison said that the company has been expanding the past few years and that acquiring Hire Choice is another piece of the puzzle. New services include a video interviewing portal and pre-employment training.
No employees have been laid off and Madison said she doubts clients are even aware that a merger occurred.
“I would imagine few, if any, noticed a difference, except for a change of name on the invoices,” Madison said. “We made a very strong effort to maintain continuity from one business to then next, from maintaining staff to the phone numbers. It”™s been a seamless transition.”
