Many of the most popular eateries in Yonkers will participate in the city’s second annual Yonkers Downtown BID International Restaurant Week. Restaurants including La Bella Havana, Tyrone House and Zuppa will offer their cuisine for a discount of 20 percent off lunch items and 25 percent off dinner selections.
The discounted meals require a voucher that can be printed from the website at yonkersrestaurantweek.com. The special-priced meals do not include alcoholic drinks, gratuities, and taxes.
The mission of the event is to promote the small businesses in the area, said Ken Dearden, Yonkers Downtown BID board chairman.  “January is typically a slow time for restaurants. Holding a special Restaurant Week not only entices residents from across Westchester and the region, but it gives a chance to showcase our unique dining spots,” he said.
Yonkers Downtown BID International Restaurant Week runs from Feb. 3-10.
