WATERBURY – The specialty chemical manufacturer Hubbard-Hall has acquired the assets of JSA/Metalline Corp., a Wisconsin-based distributor serving the plating and general metal finishing industries.
The acquisition positions Hubbard-Hall to deliver enhanced service and support to manufacturers in the Midwest, the company said in a statement.
“It’s exciting to think about the benefits we can bring to our customers by combining JSA’s responsive sales team with Hubbard-Hall’s deep technical bench,” said Hubbard-Hall President and CEO Molly Kellogg.
“JSA/Metalline has a great reputation for service, and we look forward to building their legacy.”
The two companies already share similar business philosophies, prioritizing customer service and providing hands-on technical support. The business expansion provides customers with a deeper technical bench and expanded product offerings.
Hubbard-Hall now operates three manufacturing facilities, with four quality control labs and nine stocking locations. The company’s plating support lab and R&D center enable trials, troubleshooting, and process development with faster turnaround.
More than a quarter (32%) of Hubbard-Hall’s workforce is dedicated to technical support or sales.
