
FAIRFIELD – Financial planner Moneco Advisors has completed its merger with Glastonbury-based Lichtenstein Financial and affiliated tax firm Lichtenstein Tax Consultants.
The two firms had completed a multi-year integration process prior to closing, aligning their practices to reduce transition risk while ensuring continuity for both clients and team. The Fairfield company now adds tax planning and preparation to its broader Moneco service offering through the rebranded Moneco Tax business (formerly Lichtenstein Tax Consultants).
“This was a highly intentional partnership built over time,” said Charlie Rocco, CEO of Moneco Advisors. “Brian developed a tax and wealth management firm defined by trust, integrity, and multigenerational client relationships. Partnering allows us to honor this legacy while providing current and future clients with continuity and broader tax, planning and investment management capabilities.”
By launching Moneco Tax, Moneco will be able to enhance their existing client experience by bringing tax professionals in-house to not only prepare client returns if needed, but most importantly enhance the tax planning experience.

Moneco Tax will operate under the Moneco family of companies as a standalone tax compliance and consulting business. Moneco Partner and CFP. TJ Hickey will assume responsibility as principal for Moneco’s tax and wealth management practice in Glastonbury. The office location and client service teams will remain unchanged.
