Real estate investment firm Rubenstein Partners, in partnership with George Comfort & Sons, have sold 181 Harbor Drive in Stamford for $33.5 million to a pair of New York real estate investment firms.
The 91,040-square-foot building, which will continue to serve as the headquarters of clothing company Vineyard Vines, was bought by Melohn Group and Drake Street Partners.
Jeffrey Dunne, Steven Bardsley and Travis Langer of CBRE”™s Institutional Properties Group represented the sellers and procured the buyer.
Rubenstein and George Comfort & Sons will maintain ownership of the other five buildings in the Shippan Landing complex, which are undergoing a $40 million renovation.
Rubenstein, based in Philadelphia, bought the 12-story, approximately 450,000-square-foot office building at 600 Washington Blvd. for $163 million in June.
