GREENWICH – Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich (BGCG) has a new chair of its board of directors. Sarah Osnoss replaces Eileen Tang for the 2025–2028 term. Tang has just completed five years as head of the club’s board.
Tang’s tenure was marked by extraordinary leadership during one of the most challenging periods in the club’s history, which included the Covid-19 pandemic. During that time, she helped keep the club open. Under her guidance, the club expanded its impact on youth and advanced a bold strategic vision, including the launch of its current capital campaign and construction project to transform the Clubhouse.
“We are deeply grateful to Eileen for her remarkable leadership and unwavering dedication to the youth of Greenwich,” said Cristina Vittoria, BGCG CEO. “Her ability to lead through uncertainty while always putting our kids first has left a legacy. We are also incredibly thankful to the Greenwich community, especially the Town of Greenwich and the Greenwich Public Schools, for their partnership over the past two years while our Clubhouse was under renovation.”
Osnoss considers it an honor to step into the chairmanship role.
“After two years of operating programs in five separate locations during our Clubhouse renovation, we are thrilled to welcome all our members back under one roof this September,” she said. “I look forward to working with Cristina, our dedicated staff, and our Board as we open our doors to a new chapter of opportunity for Greenwich youth.”
The club also welcomed six new members to its board at its June meeting: Courtnay Arpano, Will Broadbent, Tommy Huestis, Alicia Petrini, Shelby Saer, and Lauren Berkley Saunders.
With renovated and expanded facilities and strong leadership, BGCG is poised to deepen its impact and bring even greater resources and experiences to the young people we serve.
