BRIDGEPORT – Metal Supermarkets, the world’s largest supplier of small-quantity metals, has opened its newest location at 1085 Connecticut Ave, Unit 5E.
The store, which will offer more than 8,000 types and grades of metal cut to each customer’s specifications, is the second in the state.
Ed DeStefano of Connecticut also operates a store in Danbury that opened in 2022. The premier metal supplier plans to become the one-stop shop for local Bridgeport professionals, businesses and hobbyists alike. He has more than 35 years of management experience.
“With my team, we’re excited to expand Metal Supermarkets to local Bridgeport businesses and consumers by offering quick and convenient access to metal supplies,” DeStefano said. “Based on many customer interactions at our Danbury store, I know there is a definite need in the Bridgeport market, and I’ve worked to develop strong relationships with many companies eager to purchase metal. This is an exciting new challenge and I’m looking forward to bringing the metal business to Bridgeport.”
Each Metal Supermarkets location provides solutions to customers’ metal needs in both the business-to-business and business-to-consumer categories.
