The Summer House, a 22-story, 226-unit high-rise on 185 Summer St. in Stamford, is open for new tenants and in the process of leasing. Developed by long-time Stamford real estate developer F. D. Rich Co Inc in partnership with the Andalex Group and HIG Realty Partners, both headquartered in Manhattan, a third of the building has already been committed to since leasing began on April 1.
With the building earning a 97 “Walk Score” due to close proximity to downtown Stamford’s commercial and retail offerings, its rapid occupancy is no surprise, said F.D. Rich President and CEO Thomas Rich.
“The Summer House is the hottest address in the city,” said Rich. “Not only is everything within a 2-minute walk but the building itself is spectacular. We are very proud of this project.”
The luxury building offers tenants a rooftop swimming pool overlooking downtown Stamford, a full-sized gym, 24-hour concierge service and security, an entertaining kitchen, billiards room, rooftop garden terrace, pet spa and private shuttle service to the Stamford train station.
The building is the tallest residential rental building in the city and hailed by the developer as another iconic structure in the cityscape. F.D. Rich, a near century-old firm, has developed many of Stamford’s most notable buildings, including One Landmark Square and the city’s tallest building, the 35-story Trump Parc Stamford tower.
