Hartford”™s Ment Law Group LLC, a travel-oriented and broad-based civil litigation practice law firm, has leased 1,731 square feet for an office at 320 Post Road West in Westport, according to leasing agent Cushman & Wakefield.
Cushman said that, along with recent leases signed at the property by New England Consulting Group, MJP Wealth Advisors and Encina Business Credit, occupancy at 320 Post Road West stands at just under 90%. Longtime law firm tenant Cohen & Wolf has also extended its lease, Cushman said.
One 2,700-square-foot space remains on the second floor.
“The property”™s transformation and accessibility to town make it a great place to work and interact with clients and customers,” said Cushman Senior Director Adam Klimek, adding that Westport is “a healthy commercial marketplace ”“ one of the most active markets in Connecticut.”
Owners and longtime former Westport residents Bill and Susan Mirbach invested more than $1 million in the renovation of the property.
Built in 1986, the brick colonial building totals more than 18,000 square feet on an acre of land. Architects The Monroe Partnership designed the complete renovation including the lobbies, bathrooms and entrances. New signs have been added along with lighting, as well as artwork by New England artist Meg Black.
