The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce and the Fairfield YMCA are offering a free health and wellness exhibition this weekend featuring fitness demonstrations, health screenings and lectures.
“This Expo event is an important way to help people learn about the growing number of health-related products and services available for the whole family,” said Fairfield Chamber of Commerce President Beverly Balaz.
Sponsored by AFC Urgent Care, the Health & Wellness Exposition will be held at the Fairfield YMCA, 841 Old Post Rd., from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
More than 30 organizations will be on hand with exhibitions including Outdoor Boot Camp, Qi Gong, TRX Suspension Training as well as demonstrations in archery, golf chipping clinic and fencing.
Health screenings will also be available for blood pressure and blood sugar.
Food and beverage will be available in addition to a variety of children”™s entertainment. Lectures topics include breast cancer awareness, advice on navigating the health care system and healthy living tips.
