A Southport-based nonprofit focused on fighting poverty in Fairfield County is raising funds and awareness for its mission by hosting a tour of the region”™s priciest designer homes.
Near & Fair”™s May 12 event is titled “2017 Designer House Tour ”“ Celebrating the Art of Living” and will feature tours of “five exclusive homes” in Fairfield, Southport and Westport. Attendees also have the option to join a “Designer Breakfast” at the Patterson Club, 1118 Cross Highway in Fairfield, featuring a presentation by Jesse Carrier and Mara Miller, principals of Carrier and Company and authors of “Carrier and Company: Positively Chic Interiors.” Also scheduled is an afternoon tea party hosted at Royal Tea Company at a private home in Fairfield.
Ticket prices for the house tour are $65 in advance or $75 on the day of the event. Tickets for the Designer Breakfast are $75 and the tea party admission is $40.
