Through its portfolio company Xact Data Discovery, Clearview Capital Fund III LP of Greenwich has acquired the Litigation Document Group LLC, operating as Orange Legal Technologies with its affiliate, Orange Document Services, LLC.
No dollar amount for the deal was provided by Clearview, but according to Xact CEO Bob Polus, the acquisition is a continuation of the company”™s interest in the specialized electronic management and procurement of legal data known as eDiscovery.
Headquartered in Mission, Kan., and with offices in 12 states, Xact specializes in eDiscovery and data management solutions including forensic collection, processing, hosting, managed document review and project management services.
According to Clearview, Orange Legal is a rapidly growing provider of eDiscovery and  outsourced managed review services, and is based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Founded in 1995, Orange Legal supports clients in a variety of industries, with a particular focus on the pharmaceutical sector.
