Citrin Cooperman accounting firm has announced a merger that adds two locations in the Boston market.
It merged on Aug. 1 with Kirkland Albrecht & Fredrickson, acquiring offices in Braintree and Woburn, Mass.
Citrin Cooperman, based in Manhattan, has offices in White Plains and Norwalk.
KAF, as the Massachusetts company is known, is an accounting, tax and advisory firm with ten partners and a staff of 40. It serves construction, manufacturing and distribution, not-for-profit, professional services, real estate and technology businesses.
Citrin Cooperman was founded in 1979 and has grown into one of the largest full service accounting firms nationally. Inside Public Accounting ranked it the 21st- largest accounting firm in the country in 2016.
It has nine offices on the East Coast and more than 800 employees. It projects $200 million in revenue this year.
