NORWALK – Cingari Family Markets has begun renovating its ShopRite of Southbury supermarket at 775 Main Street St. in Southbury – the 11th such renovation in its 12-store chain in the past four years.
The family-owned and operated Connecticut-based supermarket, which owns 10 ShopRite and two Grade A Markets, said the latest renovation is part of a continued investment in its stores across southwestern Connecticut. Construction is currently underway and is expected to be completed by late fall 2025. The store will remain open throughout the renovation, with most work scheduled during overnight hours to minimize disruption to shoppers.
