NEW CANAAN – A new residential development that includes the former home of actor Richard Gere and musician Paul Simon has officially launched sales of its first homesites.
Purchased for $10,750,000 in October, the property is owned by Brookwood Hills LLC. Sound Beach Partners Homes is the properties developer.
Set along a stretch of Brookwood Lane, the 31-acre estate with a storied history of notable owners, is entering an exciting new era. The reimagined property introduces a collection of nine individual homesites. Of the nine possible homesites, the first two properties have just been listed for sale.
The property’s landscape unfolds with rolling meadows, mature woodlands, specimen trees, babbling brooks, and historic fieldstone walls. Each homesite range from more than 2 acres to nearly five acres.
