The Palace Theatre is proud to honor two distinguished individuals, Lynne Colatrella and Michael Fedele, as the 2025 Arts Ovation Award honorees. Their contributions have profoundly shaped both the arts and the Stamford community. The recognition will take place at The Palace’s 13th Annual Gala on Friday, May 16th, 2025.
As a dedicated champion of the arts for over 30 years, Lynne Colatrella plays a vital role in fostering creativity and cultural enrichment in our region through her leadership, advocacy, and passion for the arts. Most recently, Lynne retired as SR VP Events and Marketing of the Stamford Downtown Special Services District, where she spent the past 25 years shaping Stamford’s cultural landscape.
Former Lieutenant Governor of Connecticut and founder of The Pinnacle Group, Michael Fedele, is a respected leader with an entrepreneurial spirit. Through his leadership and philanthropic efforts, he has made substantial contributions to the community. His deep commitment to Stamford is evident through his services on several prominent boards, including Stamford Hospital, the Yerwood Center, Inspirica, CTE, and the Stamford Public Education Foundation. Through these roles, he has been dedicated to enhancing educational and cultural resources for all.
At The Palace’s 13th Annual Gala on May 16th, Lynne and Michael will be recognized as the 2025 Arts Ovation Award honorees. Both individuals exemplify the spirit of service and commitment that strengthens the cultural and civic fabric of the Stamford community.
Award-winning band, Kool & the Gang, will perform on The Palace’s mainstage for the nonprofit’s Annual Gala. The event is The Palace’s largest annual fundraiser with proceeds benefiting the organization and its arts education programs.
The 13th Annual Gala is a red-carpet event featuring a pre-show cocktail party with hearty small plates by Marcia Selden Catering and open bars serving specialty cocktails, including a Mionetto Prosecco spritz station, Tito’s Vodka, and Tuck Gin. Guests can enjoy a best-dressed disco costume contest—with a 15% discount at Sophia’s Costume Shop for ticketholders—a silent auction, décor by Lux Poppin’, and the Absolutely Fabulous Photo Booth. Gala tickets and sponsorships include premium seating to the Kool & the Gang performance, access to the VIP cocktail party, complimentary parking, and more.
