
Norwalk-based Cingari Family Markets will mark the completion of renovations at its ShopRite of Southbury on Monday, April 20 at the 775 Main Street S. location.
There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. with First Selectman Tim O’Neil and members of the Southbury Chamber of Commerce on hand to join Cingari Family Markets’ leadership team.
The Southbury ShopRite remained open throughout the renovation, which introduced a refreshed look and enhanced departments designed to improve the shopping experience for customers. Updates include expanded grab-and-go meal options, reimagined produce and floral departments, special Cingari Family Markets fresh foods, products and recipes , upgraded specialty sections, and sustainability-focused improvements such as energy-efficient refrigeration and lighting.

The ribbon cutting marks the latest step in Cingari Family Markets’ ongoing investment in its ShopRite stores across southwestern Connecticut.
Family-owned and operated for over 90 years, Cingari Family Markets owns and operates 10 ShopRite supermarkets and two specialty Cingari Grade A Markets in southwestern Connecticut.
