Open VISIONS Forum: Padma Lakshmi

Fairfield University’s Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts is thrilled to welcome Padma Lakshmi—producer, TV host, and New York Times best-selling author—for a thought-provoking discussion on Thursday, November 13, at 7:30 p.m.

Part of the Open VISIONS Forum and Fairfield’s America250: The Promise and Paradox initiative, “An Evening with Padma Lakshmi” invites audiences to hear from one of Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People on topics spanning food, culture, identity, and the evolving American experience.

Widely known for her work on Bravo’s Top Chef and Hulu’s Taste the Nation, Lakshmi is also a passionate advocate for immigrants’ and women’s rights as an ACLU Artist Ambassador and UNDP Goodwill Ambassador. Her newest book, Padma’s All American, celebrates the culinary and cultural diversity that shapes modern American cuisine — a theme she’ll explore during the event.
