Josie & Tony’s Italian Deli and Supper Club Presents “Lights of Broadway” Pride Gala

Josie & Tony’s Italian Deli and Supper Club is thrilled to announce the “Lights of Broadway” Pride Gala, a spectacular event to kick off Pride Month in style. The fundraiser will take place on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 7:00 PM for an unforgettable evening celebrating and supporting our local LGBTQ+ community.

“The most vulnerable in our community are under attack at the federal level and we’re facing challenges locally,” said Rachel Simon, Executive Director at Triangle Community Center (TCC). She continued, “We’ve had programs canceled by community partners complying with executive orders, we’re welcoming new neighbors who are fleeing unsafe states to find gender-affirming care, and working to be sure that TCC remains steadfast, safe, and supportive. We’re seeing real stressors impacting our community and we’re working hard to support queer joy at this time. We’re so grateful to be partnering with our neighbors at Josie & Tony’s to creatively meet these needs.”

Under the guidance of Executive Chef Marcelo Flores, who brings over two decades of culinary expertise, guests can anticipate a menu that delights the senses. The “Lights of Broadway” Pride Gala will be an evening filled with entertainment, gourmet dining, and community spirit. Guests will enjoy performances inspired by the magic of Broadway, creating an atmosphere of celebration and unity. This event underscores Josie & Tony’s dedication to supporting and uplifting the LGBTQ+ community in Fairfield County and beyond.

“I’m excited to be able to give back to the local community in this way,” said Mesnik. He continued, “There are so many great events raising money for important organizations in Fairfield County but there is a gap in support for the LGBTQ+ community which I am proudly part of. I am overwhelmed by the support from J&T Members and happy to announce we are well on our way of selling out this event at the patron level through invite only!” Tickets for the event are set at $500 and the evening will also feature an auction with luxury experiences and items. One item includes a guitar signed by Jon Bon Jovi donated by wine cocktail hour wine sponsor, Hampton Water.
