Hike the Hook like Hopper
10:45 AM to 2:00 PM
July 27, 2025
000000
Join the Edward Hopper House Museum for a guided hike through the scenic trails at Hook Mountain, culminating in a relaxing picnic (bring your own) at the summit, or below at Marydell Faith & Life Center.
Guided by Bob Stien, Tom Perry, and Jeremy Cazes, as you walk these shaded trails you’ll catch glimpses of the Hudson River glistening below, climb rocky paths once explored by Edward Hopper himself and enjoy stunning panoramas.
Reaching the top, the view unfolds like a painting: sailboats drift along the water far below, the cliffs glow in the afternoon sun, and the skyline of distant towns nestle into the horizon. As you are immersed in this scene you feel the connection between Hopper’s artistic vision and the landscape that inspired it. Be sure to bring light cuisine, your curiosity, and your camera!Â
